building bridges for artists & community

We are a veteran-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the mission of empowering artists to use their skills to make a positive impact on their communities. 

One of our primary methods, is to empower artists through skill-building on public art projects. Our access to a wide-ranging pool of talented designers, artists, and collaborators uniquely gears us towards working on these large-scale public art projects, where we pair experienced designers with student artists, who work in teams to learn skills from each other in the service of creating public art for cities and towns across the US. 

We at Brew Crew Studio strongly believe that building community networks brings people together in dialogue, and we believe that community networks are best forged through the powerful and transformative experience of art.  Our team consists of artists and educators living and working in & around Blacksburg, Virginia, with ties to Virginia Tech.
